I wrote my first contemporary fantasy novel Ancient Elements after graduating NAU and becoming a teacher. I graduated with a bachelor’s in secondary education history and social studies. I am currently teaching 7th and 8th grade social studies and have taught high school in the past.
I grew up in the hot part of Arizona where I preferred to stay inside and read fiction books if I wasn’t out traveling the country. Now that I got a taste of the author life, I am writing in my free time and have plenty of ideas for more books.
I am a giant geek, part of multiple fandoms, and therefore identify as Hufflepuff, Doctor’s Companion, Water Tribe, Cabin 7, and a Straw Hat Pirate.
